ABOUT STRADA PRIVATA
Leeza Lyman, director
For the past 15 years Strada Privata has been designing and organizing custom and group trips to Tuscany and Liguria. For 10 years Leeza lived and worked on the north Tuscan coast and in Firenze.
While in Pietrasanta, the international sculpture center, she conducted art & museum tours. She represented sculptors and worked as a translator and interpreter in Italian and French and curated the show "Five American Sculptors in Pietrasanta" at the U.S.I.S. palazzo gallery in Milano. Leeza's twenty-year connection with northern Tuscany also includes the operation of Leeza's Tuscan Hill House, a bed & breakfast in Camaiore and private garden design in northwest Tuscany. As president of Alpine Acqua, she was the New England distributor of Fonteviva, a premier Tuscan mineral water flowing from a mountain spring discovered by Michelangelo.

In creating our itineraries we work closely with local tourism professionals and our guides in Lucca, Pietrasanta and Firenze. Together we offer an especially private and independent style of travel.
